Too many people ignored the fact that Dany has had rage issues before. They act like this was out of character, but realistically...its always been there. She's just had people that could keep her in check. There was no way of doing that after that.

Almost everything about them is amazing, the acting, cinematography, set design, costume design but the writing is horrible. It shows how important writing is. Dany would have never done this, it goes against who they showed us her character to be, someone who has spent her whole time on the show fighting for the people. Here she annihilated the people. If this is where they wanted her character to go, her devolving into madness should have been shown on screen but the creators rushed it because they wanted to work on other projects.

At Dany because she did go to far, and Arya for even being there cause ma'am you knew we was finna come here and handle this! Instead of playing around like she did, she should have just went straight to Cersei and blew her place up ONLY. She became her father. Up to this point, she was saving people and helping them get out of bad situations. Sorry, but I was done with Dani after this. Question Tomaji: would you still be team Dani, if Arya got killed due to Dani's regard for human life?

Most people were mainly mad at the show runners for abandoning GoT for a Star Wars contract and just rushing the shit out of it to get it overwith.

They could have bowed out AND STILL GOT PAID AS EPs. But no. We waited 18 months or more between seasons. We would have waited longer. My only solace is that those two idiots were fired from star wars less than 2 weeks after finale.

Or Dany could have snuck on the red keep literally at any point from episode 6/10 and taken Cersei out. Or Dany could have taken KL instead of trying to get a whyte to show cersei. As if cersei doesn’t have her own personal zombie. And they could have had the whole of westeros fighting against the dead. I guess we kind of forgot that we needed all the people we could get and that why john went to Hardhome. Ugh. I cannot. Its so so so bad.

I just wish that they'd spread it out another season or so to keep with the pacing they presented earlier on when showing her darker side. The only thing I'd say opposed to some of your reactions/comments it is that the innocents are literally that - innocent. There's no way they could have left the city. Knowing Cersei as well as we do, knowing she was leading thousands into the Red Keep as a shield, there's no way her soldiers were letting the rest flee the city. And once men get a taste of victory, sacking a city is quite common. The Lannister army did it during the rebellion, themselves. So those people were doomed unless Daenerys had decided differently. Regardless of her trauma and anger, much like Cersei, it was a decision and Daenerys made it. Those innocent people paid for it. Still, love the Mad Queen hehe

They wanted it gone so they could focused on some Star Wars thing. They should have said they wanted to bring in new show runners instead of butchering probably the best show of all time. I'm still pissed off 3 years on! I just hope this John Snow show is the return of GOT 🙏

Jon would’ve still forced the North (as it’s King) to work with Dany for the Long Night! As for what came after idk 🤷🏽♂️. The headspace Dany came with is much different than the one she ended in and both came with very opposite decision making so it’s hard to say. She was much easier to reason with if your on her good side which is why pitting Sansa against her was foolish. Look at the fighting pits in Mareen, she was completely against it but still did it for the people! She would’ve worked to try and find middle ground with her country, it is her duty as Queen! She always listened to the people in Mareen and tried to do what she thought was fair! Much more than Cersei ever did. I really wish we could’ve gotten to see that Daenerys rule!

Although i doubt it would of helped Dany gain support or love from Westeros, especially the north which means she'd end up going the fire & blood route with the Starks or anyone who doesn't kneel. I'm hoping the books make sense of all of this to be honest. Also Dany destroying the red keep or KL right away, would go against her own words of not coming here to be queen of the ashes. I agree with Emilia they definitely were not heading in this direction initially! To go this route required more story and character development, but I could see how she would’ve eventually became “the mad queen”. Wish things would’ve been different though 😢

That's not right. She was killing her own men too, she couldn't have known who was who. For the record Emilia Clarke AKA Danny fought against the writers of the show. She said this wasn't right for her character. She'd played the roll for 10 + years and she knew this wasn't something Danny would do. She was supposed to be a conqueror, not a tyrant. After you're done there's a GOT programme called "The Last Watch" which is summing up all that happened in season 8 and exclusives with the cast. Even if you don't react to it watch it, it's really good. I'm looking forward to your reaction to the shit show that is episode 6!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm pretty sure you already watched it so no spoilers!

Everyone had their part to play in the great war, Jon united everyone and even influenced & brought Arya home. U say Dany helped in Jon's war but it wasn't his, it was everyones war and their was no time for anything else, like Jon expressed in 7x03.
