Remember she called Rae Rae's kids that? it's her kids who are barbaric. Aemond was wrong for stealing that dragon. Yes stold bc those girls were grieving their mom. She didn't hv time to claim the dragon. He came for a funeral not to sneak around and steal a dragon. Also remember when Alicient threw shade at Rae Rae about the Targaryens sleeping with each other. Well didn't her son and daughter marry each other? Alicient is mad at Rae Rae bc she was stuck with the King while Rae Rae was free to do her thing. Which by the way is not Rae Rae's fault. A dragon egg hatching has nothing to do with whether a child is legitimate or a "bastard." Anyone of Valyrian descent has the possibility to become a dragon rider, but it's not a guarantee. Many Valyrians have been killed trying to claim a dragon, which brings me to another point. There is no such thing as a "community dragon." A dragon will only bond with a single rider and will not bond with another person while their rider is alive. This bond does not need to be formed at birth. As Laena pointed out, there are many ways to claim a dragon. That's why Jon was able to claim Rhaegal. Although they don't really touch on this much in the show, Viserys does not have a dragon. He was the last rider of Balerion, but he never chose another dragon after Balerion died. Hope that clarifies things a bit. REALLY looking forward to your Harry Potter reactions! :-)

2023-07-16 16:03:37 +0000 UTCNot somebody all lives mattering your reaction π Anyway, you're right Alicent is very bitter and jealous of Rhaenyra...she's mad because Rhaenyra slept with Crispin and didn't tell her...yet she was sneaking off to see Rhaenyra's daddy every night and said nothing. She's a hypocrite and needs to focus on her own trash sons. The rats are symbolic in this series. My take on Rhaenyra's situation is she really had no choice. As heir to the throne part of her duties is to have children. So either don't have any kids because your husband can't do the deed which still would've looked suspicious and caused whispers at court, or have kids with someone else. I think she chose Ser Harwin because she trusted him. He's the one who she ran into that night she was out with Daemon so she knows he can keep a secret. Regardless of who their father is they are Targaryen and that's all that matters like she said to Jacaerys.

He and Margaery were in the Sept speaking about the tombs of dead Targaryens and Joffrey points to a tomb and tells about the person buried inside and how that person died. That is the end of House of The Dragon actually. Joffrey spoiled it for all of us long agoπ Hopefully you don't remember it.

Alicent's kids are Aegon, Aemond and Helaena. There is a fourth kid in the books. Daeron. He will appear in season 2. They skipped his character in season 1. His dragon will be Tessarion. Aegon rides Sunfyre, Aemond is the one without a dragon, Helaena rides Dreamfyre. Dreamfyre is the mother of Daenerys's dragons Drogon Rhaegal and Viserion. Almost 70 years before the story of House of The Dragon, a woman named Elissa Farman stole 3 eggs from Dreamfyre and sold it in Braavos to buy a ship. Those 3 eggs are the ones the magister gifts Daenerys on her wedding with Khal Drogo. This same Dreamfyre's another egg was used by Rhaenyra for her beother Baelon in episode 1 and in episode 2 Daemon stole it. Now coming to Rhaenyra's kids. Jacaerys have Vermax, Lucerys have Arrax. Joffrey will have Tyraxes.

The dragons used by Aegon the Conqueror and his sister-wives were Balerion the Black Dread, Meraxes and Vhagar. Meraxes died during a battle with Dorne and Balerion died 1 year after King Viserys claimed him. (Super interesting theories as to what happened to Balerion with his previous rider too). Vhagar is a she-dragon too. A lot of the dragons are named after the gods of Old Valyria called The Fourteen Flames Rhaenerya has Syrax, Laenor has Seasmoke, Jace has Vermax and Luke has Arrax. Daemon has Caraxes, Leana has Vhagar, Baela has Moondancer but Rhaenaβs egg did not hatch Aegon the Second has Sunfyre, Helaena has Dreamfyre. Aemondβs egg did not hatch. These are only the claimed dragons. The unclaimed dragons are Vermithor, Silverwing, The Cannibal, Grey Ghost and Sheepstealer. The last three are considered wild dragons as they have never been claimed but Vermithor was the dragon for King Jaehaerys the First and Silverwing for his siser-wife Queen Alysanne.
