And I was running it over in my head the potential length of time it will take to create the pitch and get approved/greenlit (if that happens at all)
So since that could potentially take... months LOL I was wanting to double down on making progress on the horror comic I have set as the goal for 1000 subscribers (especially since we are half way there- I feel like I need to start getting it ready now just to be safe in a few months LMAO)
I've always wanted to do a horror comic as I've always loved horror/thriller movies. But I admit that I'm nervous because liking something and being good at something are two different things LOL but who knows maybe I'll do a couple of test short stories that I'm more confident in before we reach 1k.
I don't have much aside from a title/logo (because I got really inspired + drawn in by that) and the idea that it will be Ambiguously 70's. (I say ambiguously because the idea of it being sort of between decades can have a sort of liminal space effect and also because.... I want to be able to draw outfits how I like and not being strictly tied to Historical Accuracy)
And it will (obviously) be a slasher type comic playing on the final girl trope and what that means and such. I'm trying not to talk about it too much cuz I know the exact contents will likely change drastically by the time we get there.
But!!! I'm excited! And hope that we start getting close to the goal come November so I can start making stuff for this!
