But Star Trek is sadly notorious for "bad" treatmemt of some actors that have limited appearances while others consider each other family, in the early seasons of Star Trek TNG one of the main bridge members even ended up quitting b4 the season was out and they killed off her character. Though the main casts are always usually always super supportive of each other and always claim to have good time the early season of TNG being excluded.

But nowadays we have expansive fields in Texas, the Dakotas, and Alaska that we wouldnt have had access to during the time of recording this episode
