2024-09-13 16:56:31 +0000 UTCYeah, quite the cliff hanger - they hadn’t been renewed for a season 2. This came out right when streaming was in its infancy and it had a lot of online fans watching but a bad timeslot and ratings were only counted for live tv audiences and they hadn’t figured out how to monetize digital streams. But fans were up in arms and sent literal tons, and tons of peanuts to CBS to get them to renew and they gave them the 7 episodes to wrap it up in S2. They spend the time well I think.
