If you asked me what I wanted to do with Patreon it would be something I would find difficult to sum up easily. I could use the word create, but I'm not much of a creator myself beyond ideas. I'm not a novel writer, I can weave stories, worlds and characters but I find myself doing a poor job at attempting to make walls of text that people could enjoy. I am not an artist, instead I find myself working with a variety of people, some friends I've gained and some are just those I occasionally find myself acquiring art from. Creating is part of the process that I feel I would like to do. I want to work with others and build something amazing to enjoy, and I frequently feel frustrated that such things require money to do so with but I understand that all the same people deserve payment in exchange for their hard work. It is my hope one day that I will be able to incorporate myself, make this a full on business where I can work with others to create comics and various other forms of entertainment for people to enjoy. I would very much like to make this my life, to prove to family who keep telling me to go out and look for a real job that this is very much one. I would like to see my characters and worlds visualized, but I would also like to bring others along for this journey as well. Perhaps down the road we can find ourselves breathing life into all sorts of things. My mother doesn't see this as a form of work, but it is for me. It feels good, it makes me feel responsible and gives me drive to move forward. At the stage things are at now they are not anywhere ideal, which is why I keep asking friends to support Patreon, to get others to perhaps raise their pledges a bit more. I would like to bring things to the point where I could submit massive orders for comic content on a monthly or even bi-monthly basis, and bring on some people I know as contracted artists, who even if they are not doing work for Sky Kitsune Studios as a full time job or even part time, they find themselves getting paid a large sum that is far beyond just standard commission work. I would love to bring this little group to a higher point in the potential it has, I want to make it official, incorporate it so that it may become more than just a silly little group on Patreon that people call themselves part of. I want to make this a career. So when I go around asking about future pledges, or people raising their on this is a speech I would like people to keep in mind. I do not wish you to give money if it would cause financial troubles for you or if you struggle to make ends meet, I only wish you to do what you can if you find yourself able and if you wish to. So to everyone who has supported thus far and just joined us, thank you. Hopefully we can all work together to make this bigger in the future and then one day, an official organization.
