Brita Refills - Removing the Resistance

I just have a pitcher I fill up, then drop into the Britta.

mine's on a trigger, so if I want to use the hose I have to sit there and babysit it with the trigger engaged

wait why not put it on the counter to the right of the sink and use the pull hose thing? my sinks main faucet is a pull hose so i just put mine on the counter next to the sink, pull the hose, lay it on top, and let it drip drip drip πŸ’§

Safe

"Let it drip drop drip while you go do something else and come back for 10 minutes" Or be me and come back half an hour later to a pitcher that has water in and on every conceivable nook and cranny

it's the Opal ice maker, but I wouldn't recommend it especially if you have hard water. I bought it for $100, while it's usually $500, but it is very whiny and fussy, needing to be cleaned constantly. Also, 1 lb of ice per hour is pretty slow.

Nice handy tip! Is that an ice maker next to where you stowed the Brita? πŸ‘€ If so do you like it/would you recommend it? In the market for one since our freezer unit stopped working.

Ok so this is actually very relevant to me, and a great tip. Thank you!
