hello patreon! you might notice this doodle from my header. i hadn't posted it until now though!

i thought i'd include as a PATREON BONUS the uncropped one that i'm not going to post. her legs ended up being pretty wonky and i don't feel like redrawing them

this doodle was way more boring before i decided to use it for my patreon header and i was like well, does patreon allow nsfw stuff in headers? so to play it safe i decided that since her hands are up anyway, i could just add in a mosaic censor bar ahaha

it ended up being way better imo -- i find it kind of cute? funny? hot? how she's covering her boobs but her pussy's just totally bare haha

censorship in general is kind of weirdly exciting to me. i don't mean porn that's been censored after the fact, though -- i mean something made with the censorship in mind, like just a character's face and they're obviously getting fucked hard but oh ho ho that's all that there is of the pic

it's like they're getting oral under the table -- even if you can't see their junk or whatever it's still hot how they're reacting ahah

or i guess to get more up my own ass about it i find diegetic censorship exciting -- like basically what i drew. the censorship exists in-universe -- i guess a character covering up is a basic example of diegetic censorship, but also something like... oh ho ho this plant is just barely in the way of this shot!

and tbh i always found the dumb renaissance(?) practice of covering genitals with a leaf to be exciting. like, "dang, there's just a leaf on their pussy. that would fall off so easily" hahah

it's sort of like another dimension of skimpy clothing i think -- there's a lot of tension, like everything is just suspended in midair and about to come crashing down and they'd just be naked!

this is something candy's super into haha. like i haven't drawn it much but she wears super skimpy getup because she finds that sort of tension exciting to the point of mild obsession

(not to mention being the center of attention and the inevitable wardrobe malfunction where everybody can totally just see her pussy, or even how everybody can totally see her just totally gettin fucked)

more about the word of the day, diegesis. i mentioned on mastodon before but i'm sure a bunch of you folks don't use mastodon! but an idea i've been finding fun is diegetic porn -- i.e. it exists in-universe

the most obvious example of this is the porno tapes and posters and magazines that are a common theme in my art, but there's a weird extension of that i've been finding entertaining

it's the idea that the porn and pinups and stuff i've drawn -- maybe not everything, but a good portion of it -- is diegetic. that is, it exists in-universe as a page in a porn magazine, or an amateur photo, or a shot from a porno flick, or whatever

i used to be kind of at odds with myself over the porn i draw, and i've seen this among other porn artists. like, there's the porn version that we draw all the time that really should be the canon version since it's what everybody sees, but like...

i guess sex is still pretty shameful to society as a whole? because it's common that the canon version is this like, totally scrubbed-clean, sexless imitation of itself

i've done this for a long time -- it's as if i was just holding out for the big stupid kickstarter for the cartoon series or sexless game that uses my characters, trying to cover all my bases

or maybe it's just the shame thing. it's probably nice as a backup plan for when people in real life ask what you draw, and you can show them, i guess

anyway, i ended up deciding that i'm done with that sort of attitude. like, why should i be ashamed that my work has my self-insert basically constantly fucking hot ladies? it's what people have been following me for up to this point. a sexless comic or game kickstarter or whatever would be out of left field, and honestly not have much to do with my work

i suppose i've also been sort of embarrassed by the harem anime aspect of it, too -- everybody in-universe wants vic's dick, and i'm not exactly interested in drawing candy or sammy or whoever having sex with whatever random dude

like yeah, realistically vic isn't this awful possessive dude forbidding everybody from having sex with anybody else, but i don't really feel a need to depict random hookups or even treat them as canon just because it's more realistic

like it's not very fun to me unless my fursona can also be involved and be kind of the center of attention lmao. like i'd definitely be cool with like, sammy and rodeo like all over vic's dick and they all end up banging haha

(also, my other characters totally bang each other. i'm also done with the candy/hella dynamic where candy's the straight man annoyed by hella's hijinks. for one, i want candy to be dumber, and for two, candy and hella totally fuck. i've been meaning to draw this more)

realism isn't exactly interesting to me. like apparently 80% of my universe is also populated by people with big fat butts and the same body shape. i'm not trying to make a broad statement or say one body type is superior to all else, it's just highly personal escapism

anyway, that was a pretty big tangent, but i still have a main point i'm getting back to haha

and that's that i'm done with the kickstarter-pipe-dream or art-i-can-show-my-nephew stuff because it's not what i'm really truly interested in and it's kind of a waste of time. so it's all just canon. all my characters just fuck a lot, have fucked in public, whatever

the porn of them exists in-universe, even. they all just do porn sometimes. i think candy uses a stage name though since she's famous for other stuff. maybe a fake beauty mark too

("cupcake" could be a fun throwback, but i don't want to validate the weird cold emotionally abusive old cupcake, or act like any of that could ever be canon)

and the weird thing where it was only canon that vic and candy are a thing, i'm done with that too, i guess. like yeah it's kind of harem anime-y that everybody wants to fuck vic, but they all fuck each other, too. all my characters fuck

(but i still like the really romantically intense stuff between vic and candy though -- the i-love-yous etc)
