patreon, baby, lemme treat you right

i've been a little sad lately about hmm... i've been putting off doing some things with my patreon, tbh. i want to make tiers but i switched linux distros and i don't have my old fonts and i'd wanna remake the header to be consistent with the tiers and i keep.... putting it off.......

and i'll be 100% real with you: i had some mildly awkward interactions on here and i'm pretty shy about stuff like that so i've just been like, interacting the bare minimum on patreon in general. it's not even like, a big deal... i just feel kind of shy haha. i'm gonna stop doing that. new year's resolution in march!

anyway, i need to restructure some things

ONE! i need to redo my header and make some tiers. i wanna give you guys more treats!

TWO! i wanna, wait, i said that in the other paragraph. but like, i'm gonna offer you guys some more stuff but i'm just gonna be upfront, it's gonna be higher tier stuff. source files for one, like i keep bringing up and neglecting to make tier header graphics for -- another i've been planning on is archives access for medium-tier patrons and higher!

archives access?? isn't that super complicated????? well, not really. i'll just password protect a folder on asswolf.com and set up a script to randomize the password every so often so you can't just keep access forever. hell i could even set it up with the patreon api to automatically post here when it's been changed! even i could probably figure this out

THREE! i might do some kind of discord channel because uh, i think not many people use mastodon... but it feels more private than twitter to me

i really like having a venue where i can post about whatever arcade games or kilovolt thing or silly throwaway wip screenshot i'm doing, and it'd be nice to have one limited to patrons. discord uh, seems ideal for this tbh, especially with its patreon integration stuff, i think...?

so yeah, if there's interest there i'll definitely start looking into that hehe
