The queen doesn't rule over Aus, she has sends a Govenor general to sign laws and shit but doesn't make them, more of a formality. Also, the reason there is no King is because King is higher than a Queen and her husband was given the prince title instead of king because she was the royal figurehead, not him...atleast back then. Didn't have a civil war? Technically we did if you count the great emu war.
