Are the superchats ruining the show?

Honest opinion, I feel like you guys can riff on them giving you both more material to work with

2020-07-08 17:13:57 +0000 UTCCould be a better way to do it, but for the main episodes in the middle of a topic. A lot of streamers have it set up to appear on the screen and then if there’s a funny or relevant one you could address it. Sometimes it’s just changed that whole part of the show because one of the usual suspects donated a dollar to say dumb shit

2020-07-07 12:41:57 +0000 UTCCan't you just up the amount required to have it show up on screen? The occasional super chat was funny, although it's definitely a bit much right now.

2020-07-06 16:56:22 +0000 UTCThe superchats make it seem less like a podcast especially if you listen on Spotify

2020-07-06 16:22:52 +0000 UTCMost of them are not funny and repetitive. A select few are actually funny

2020-07-06 09:58:42 +0000 UTCTheres no way you cant find a program that compiles them as they come in for you to read off all at once. Just look around and if somehow that doesnt exist, use streamlabs like someone else sjggested

2020-07-06 07:05:42 +0000 UTCSome other streamers read superchats over a certain amount live, then catch up to the rest of them at specific intervals. That's probably the best way to go and if nothing else you make a few extra bucks.

2020-07-06 02:21:16 +0000 UTCI feel like a big part of the superchats is the "live" interaction, I wouldn't spend any money if they were read at the end honestly i feel like that defeats their purpose

2020-07-06 02:12:38 +0000 UTCYea so I think either switch to streamlabs or something where you can read them at the end, and disable super chats, or only read the more expensive super chats. The super chats aren't that bad the way they are so I wouldn't care that much if they stay the same way but it's good to consider other ways even if you're just trying it for one show.

2020-07-06 02:12:02 +0000 UTCThe biggest issue is that - because of the service we use, the superchats get buried in the chat and it doesnt allow me to scroll backwards past xxx amount of chats. What I would prefer to do is just leave them until the end of the show and then go through and address them then. We tried that and there were a couple superchats at the beginning of the show that I couldnt scroll back far enough to see.

2020-07-06 01:46:46 +0000 UTCI think if you can't figure out how to just do them all at the end or middle or something you should only read $10+ or $5+ super chats so there's less of them

2020-07-06 01:33:26 +0000 UTCWhen the Superchats work, it’s fucking funny. Hilarious even. But most of the time they’re a disruption of the flow. Maybe have a dedicated section every so often for Super-chats? Like beginning, quarter, middle, quarter, end. And if you’re already doing that then.......shit.
