Discord & Youtube Credits

Hello Patrons!

It's not very often that I make a meta post, but since a lot of people have recently enrolled I figured it may be time to address a few things.

Firstly, thank you for your patronage! That is not something that I say as often as I should, but I truly appreciate it. EliteMobs is really starting to take a whole other dimension thanks to your continued support, and it's allowing me to make plans that are far more ambitious, as well as dedicate far more time than I otherwise would be able to dedicate.

Secondly, if you've not done it yet, remember to link your discord account to your Patreon account! Doing so will give you access to the Patron lounge which can be a pretty useful resource.

Thirdly, I want to start taking YouTube a bit more seriously. I feel like I should immediately justify that by saying that I don't mean in the sense of "I want to become a professional youtuber" - no, I mean in the sense of using YouTube as a platform for sharing new features, communicating plans for the future, posting guides for various features and showcasing what can be done in EliteMobs.

Now, this raises a very important point. Traditionally, YouTubers credit their patrons at the end of their videos, and that is something that I have done and will continue doing in the future. However, a lot of people on Patreon use their real names due to the way Patreon gets users to enroll. I happen to be a very big advocate for privacy, and posting full names on YouTube has never sat well with me. As such, moving forward, I will be shortening the family name of all patreon supporters down to the first letter of the first family name instead of posting the full name - in my own case, it would show up as Tiago A. . I hope that this does not upset anyone, and if you have a username instead I will not change it at all.

That's all I have for you right now. I am currently in the final stretch before releasing the update 7.2 update, and am considering releasing it before I start working on the next new feature.
