I feel like Lovelyz performance would've hit harder if the instrumental and overall sound had been mixed better. It felt they were doing karaoke, not awful but it lacked the "oomph" and power of the original song.

I think very few soloists can compete against groups the way Hyolyn did in Q2, and as others have mentioned her condition wasn't the best at the time. Before the lineup for Q2 was announced, a lot of people were saying "please no soloists" because it was just so stacked against her and people didn't want to see that happen again.
