Had to get some photographic evidence to confirm they removed those 2 sections (as opposed to comp them) and was able to do that (see below). It would be unusual timing for them to comp THAT many seats at once. I've noticed any large chunks of comps are usually done in the morning (happened the other day for Extreme Rules). I don't care about how many people are comp'd (a very difficult figure to chase) - more important is actual people in seats.
They did add a few seats on the upper deck late.

Which is weird because they used to run college arenas when they were at their hottest.

2021-09-28 18:14:57 +0000 UTCPerception is very important to them; running small buildings that are considered the B buildings in town is something they hate to do. They want the NBA size arenas even if they only fill half of it or less.
