Throwback: "DAFT THOUGHTS"

May 2013, I was studying at University, and in my spare time I decided to create a Sitcom called "DAFT THOUGHTS", featuring my favorite EDM band, Daft Punk!

Back then, I had no monetization on the channel and zero budget, but I had this weird idea in my mind.

The concept of this series was to give the two famous androids, which are known for being silent in their public appearances, a more human side, showing their emotions "under the helmet" so to speak! 

The number of episodes I planned was 10 (not counting the pilot), and each one was supposed to be 1 minute long.

Soon enough though, my motivation of telling a story took over: with each new episodes these cartoons were becoming longer and longer, featuring more story and plot twists.
You can also clearly see how my drawings improved over time during the series, since it spanned from 2013 to 2015, coinciding with the period when I uploaded my Witcher 3 Parody, turning my "format" from random cartoons to mainly based on videogames.
My friend Francesco Mele was also a big help in voicing one of the two androids. We had a lot of fun together making stereotypical and improbable French accents. Thank you Francesco! ;) 

People to this day, still thanks me for making this series and I'm happy that it resonated so much, even if with a smaller but "hardcore" audience. After all, it was  a huge part of my growth process on Youtube.

Music and videogames for me, have always been equally important. That's why I make my own music (for the most part) in my cartoons today, cause it's fun and I've always loved to pursue the dream of performing and producing music on my own. So...this is for you Daft Punk fans, and....just music fans in general! ;) Thank you for being here with me after so much time.
