SEKIROT Trailer Update, Painted Background test!

Hey guys! Here's an update on Sekiro the animation!
I've been crushing it with the schedule lately, so much so I've animated already (in sketch form) ALL the material for the trailer! Plus many other scenes! I'm giving priority to the trailer, in order to have it ready as soon as possible for you. So that means It's already time to take those animated sketches, clean them up, color and there you have it. This is what I will do during the next few weeks.

As I anticipated in my latest announcement video, I'm doing some experimentation with the backgrounds for this new toon, in order to streamline the process and avoid outlining every single rock or tree like I usually do..... So painted this TEST landscape (below) using as always my good old trusty (and rusty) Macromedia Flash, trying to emulate the brush strokes you would get with actual paint. It's still tricky, It's not perfect, but overall I have to say, I like the result! What do you guys think?
This is just a test, not a background from Sekirot, and it's actually inspired by InuYasha which I "re-watched" lately while working. It's a fantastic anime, with beautiful hand painted landscapes and animations.

One last thing, I'm moving tonight's Animation Stream to TOMORROW (Wednesday) since I'm trying desperately to fix my mangled sleep schedule....and of course, this Friday we go back AND FINISH Resident Evil 2 Remake! Those streams have been so much fun...I wish I could stream more games but duty calls. ;'D
