ELDERING (UPDATE)

Hello everyone, it's been a while since we last talked. I wanted to apologize for my absence, but this last 2 months have been quite busy!

First, the holidays had constant distractions. I usually keep it simple by staying at home for the majority of the time. But this time it was different. I've been living with my girlfriend, who comes from another country. Life was amazing with her, and I was able to work almost on a daily basis. But, not the amount of hours I was clocking in when living alone. We had a limited time to be together during these holidays, and now I will not be able to see her again, for probably more than 4 months, due to her visa expiring and her University commitments, that require her to be away.
I'm gonna be ok without her...because I got a lot to do, which is a (hidden) blessing for distracting myself and get stuff done.

Right now (February), a period of heavy grind started. To finish the current parody and start the new one (that's right, you read it well). I will also resume the streams, both with animation and also games (though more rare).

After finishing this current parody, I will jump into the next one without taking a break. I think it's fair to my supporters, due to the fact that I took some days off in January and December.

I want to thank everybody, who stuck with me despite the longer wait for this new toon...

Some of the technical reasons why it's taking so long:

· There’s more people involved, doing many different things (not animations though, that’s only me, still). There’s almost 30 voice actors, and other people doing music parts and my assistant drawing the introduction paintings as well. A lot of decision making and directing to do to achieve something professional.

· The running time is going to be similar to Sekirot but the animations are better and more flashy. Though the aspect ratio is widescreen instead of 4:3, which means there's more stuff to draw overall on screen. There's an emphasis on frame by frame animation which is really time consuming, but it will be worth in the end, to make this toon something to go back to, and re-watch many times, especially with all the secrets peppered through it!

· As I was writing both the current parody and its sequel, I moved some stuff in the current parody, which expanded it. Thus more work to do overall.

I wish things would have been different, that the toon was already out. But at the same time, I know that the "hermit" lifestyle of the past years it's becoming unsustainable for me. My health sucks when I grind for super long periods (i'm 35 now! I'm truly Eldering!) and finally, sharing life with someone else has truly healed my spirit as a person, not just an animating robot.

I'm excited for this last stretch of production and thrilled by the quality I achieved, guys. I hope to see you around, on the streams or other updates. I don't take your support for granted, and I feel for having left you in the cold. But I hope that this completed toon and the live-streams connected to it, will bring to you the warmth that I wasn't able to give you for these past months.
