ELDERING (Final Big Update)

What's up guys, a much needed update on my upcoming parody!
The coloring is basically done! The next 3 days will be dedicated to go through the whole animation and finish up a couple frames I left behind here and there.  Everything else is done, all the major scenes, all the backgrounds....even all the musical pieces! What is left is my voice acting, mouth animations, and the editing. All of which should take the remaining of April to be completed.
We are looking at a 30+ minute cartoon. But only when all the pieces are put together during the editing, I will have a more accurate running time. I estimate that it will be my longest one to date.
I really enjoy the pacing of this animation, it feels very rich in details and there's a lot of variation in moods and colors and situations. Thanks mostly to the great variety that the game offers in the first place. I think also the Easter eggs are really well implemented and in more subtle ways. And there are some very well hidden things that will require a very close inspection to find. I love those kind of things...

There has been some sort of "drama" with one of my collaborators. Despite my strict work ethic of giving instructions way ahead of time with transparency, I had some difficulties communicating with one of them. This is giving me a bit of anxiety, and honestly I'm ready to assign the remaining work to someone else who can get it done in a timely manner. I'll have a better picture this coming week, when I'll talk to the person and see what he can complete, or not. What matters to me is that this doesn't mess up the release of the toon in any way.

I hope all of you are doing ok, it's been a weird period with uncertainty, fear, but also hope for the future, as we are navigating a world "post" pandemic. All i hope is that people can find what they like in life and work towards it with passion, and without hesitation. But it's crucial that we don't do this without empathy, because i find that when we forget about others and we don't care, even if things seem to be going well on the surface, a lot can be wrong under the surface. And it will come back to bite us in the ass, ultimately.
