SURPRISE, IT'S A MOVIE.

What's up guys! Did you know that, according to the academy of motion pictures arts, apparently a video that reaches 40 minutes is considered a feature movie?
Welp, this is what I'm working with here, I guess I'm making a movie now.

That's right. After doing the voice acting synch for the main character, I discovered that the animation reaches that length, if not slightly more even (but I'll trim it to not exceed that).
What's really dumbfounding to me, is that fact that...(trust me), i did my best to cut all the unnecessary fat. The parody flows at almost a breakneck speed, kinda like "Sekirot" did. And despite that, It's reaching the 40 minute mark. I'm speechless.
I had to cut a lot of things too, which will be given proper time in the sequel.

Anyway so, i wanted to give you some more info on the overall status:

The voice acting has been done (mine too), I just need to receive some additional one from some people, but it's been already animated. I'm just waiting for a couple people to deliver the final takes.

The thumbnail, is almost finished! I wanted to do it before finishing the rest, so i can really think hard on it. It has to be just right. I'm really happy with it so far and i might show a sneak peek before the release.

I was able to sort out the problems i had with my assistant who is doing the paintings. Another artist is helping out filling those gaps and he's doing a fantastic job, i couldn't be more happy.

I'm currently animating the mouths of my character, which should take 2 more days.
After i'll complete those, i will start the editing.

I'm very fast at the editing process. But since this is such a pivotal cartoon for me, honestly, even when i complete it, I want to have the freedom to just sit on it for a few days.  I want to have a clear mind, where i can see things more objectively and be able to critique the animation and touch up things...weather it's an additional easter egg i want to add here, or maybe a voice line i want to improve there.
It would be such a shame to rush it. I know for sure that given the record length of the animation, the editing will take slightly more time. It's just the nature of working with a 40 minute video. No matter if I'm fast at editing or not...40 minutes to edit is 40 freaking minutes, for one guy.

With that said, i need a couple (2) more weeks to finish this properly. Even if I know that I'll have a finished video in a week and a half, it's better if i add some extra days just to be sure. My guess, is a launch window between the 12 and 15th of May.

I thank you all for being so patient with me...I never thought i would be able to achieve something like this. It's been a wild ride. I assure you that there will be "oh so much" to eat in this cartoon buffet.

Anyway, I better get back to those mouths now (that sounded weird) since I have a stream on Twitch tonight too. Take care guys, thank you for supporting me and believing in me all the way.
