2022-06-26 23:01:12 +0000 UTCThe Double or Nothing announced number was 1,300+ higher than my final figure, one of the bigger AEW discrepancies I've seen with my numbers. 17K does seem too high for them to announce, so maybe 16K for tonight? They definitely announce a higher number for bigger shows and I can't say with 100% certainty it's fake, but all indications are they seem inflated by a bit. I thought their Arthur Ashe number was a little high. I don't have suite numbers so that's why I say I can't be 100% certain but suites are rarely 100% occupied at these shows anyway. At the end of the day, most casual viewers will not think twice about any announced numbers from these companies. If they go with 17K tonight, I will have a stronger opinion on this (because that will be too high). Sorry for the long winded response.
