They probably thought that Arizona being closer to Mexico, would allow for their fans to also be able to travel easier. AAA fans in Mexico and "in theory" USA would allow for a convergence for 5,000 person attendance. Unfortunately like the MSG show a few years back, they completely underestimated how small their market is, in the USA compared to Mexico.
