AEW All In Presale notes (huge presale number)

Dave Meltzer tweeted out earlier that AEW hit the 35K mark for the presale. A few hours later Tony Khan confirmed they hit 36K paid for a $4.7 million gate so far.
There is still no map for me to look at but I know it'll emerge soon enough.
I woke up at 4AM to check out how things were looking for the first presale but there wasn't much to check out with the map. Same thing for the 6AM presale. Someone did pass along that 16,000 were in the queue at that time (with a screenshot of how they got the number). For each queue, I was given the "2000+" message.
I have been keeping an eye on sections being opened up because at one point you could only get tickets in the 500s. They have since opened up stuff in the 100s & 200s that are considered full view to the ring but partial view of the stage. Those seem to be selling fast and then I get the 500s again.
More to come on that front. They have a few more partner presales to go through in the next few days. I don't expect those to do a lot but they will move more. I think the next big bump will be the general public on sale because there's a lot of people out there who get confused by the presale process (not sure if it's the code or just not being comfortable with technology). That said, I think the majority of sales happen today and it's a great start for them. All along I felt like 40K was the number they'd hit and they have a chance to far exceed that.
There's a lot more to say about this and I'll add more in the near future.

Remember, this is a football (or as our american friends call it "soccer") stadium. They built-in fixed center positions and boxes for TV cameras already (on both sides of the pitch). So no need to remove seats typically. Add to that additional positions around the upper deck and of course floor cams. 2023-05-03 17:22:22 +0000 UTCThey’ll be well above 45k by the end of today, most likely. By the end of Friday, it’s trending towards a likely 60-65k. I would project the final total somewhere in the low 70k-ish area. But, keep in mind, the Khans haven’t really cranked up their UK promotion machine just yet. I imagine, with comps and all, we could be looking at a full house. Definitely, after comps for corporate partners, they’ll top SummerSlam 92 at the current rate.
