This feels like straight manipulation. Don't agree with you here. I think it's a good idea to be aware of how important it is to see that her self worth is influenced by your words and behavior. But by manipulating her by making her dependent on you, you're making her weaker for your own benefit. And even though it might work, I don't know if that's a situation that's desirable.
