I can’t even begin to describe to you how good it feels when a boyfriend tells me that I look great, especially when it’s about specific things (eyes, hair, you get the picture). But, that being said, these kinds of compliments about beauty should only be a -fraction- of the compliments you give to a girl. Because I only date smart men, they know better than to only compliment looks—in the past I’ve gotten compliments on passions, pursuits, stories I tell them, AND the things I do for them. YouTube is for the masses. If users flag a particular piece of content, YouTube’s compliance department looks at the content and makes a decision. Usually they will side with the masses because, as you said, Google and the rest of social media companies don’t want bad PR. It hurts their stock. I know so, because I’ve seen the social media industry change it’s course to respond to shareholders complaints.
