I'd say this holds true in certain situations. If someone is coming after you and trying to attack you however you have to fight back.

When someone mocks me there are two lessons to be learned: 1) The person is envious of me or angry at himself, and 2) I have some weakness that allowed that person to mock me. Either way, the best option is usually to ignore and work on my flaws so that it won't happen again. Perfect advice coach!

Hmmm I think I need a bit more clarity on this one as there is a fine line between purposely offending someone and bullying. I've ignored people like this in the past who have tried to offend me only to be criticised by others for not "sticking up for myself". When I was in school every asshole would do this as they knew full well I wouldn't react and would just ignore them and they saw that this meant that they could act without impunity. After a few years I'd had enough and it stopped happening only when I finally responded and threw some asshole into a thorn bush. I get your comment regarding "power" however I do think that there are also just as many individuals out there that get a rush out of being able to be as offensive to others knowing that in almost all situations there will be no comeback.

I'm offended. Jokes aside, it's so true that most people don't offend intendedly. You have to understand narcissism. A narcissist has a personality disorder, he lacks of empathy and is helplessly insecure. If you feel offended by a narcissist, it has nothing to do with you. When you realise that, you're pretty much untouchable.

"Most people don't intend to offend you." This is such a true statement. The problem is that people are out there looking to be offended for themselves or be offended for others. And this is what our society has came to, a bunch of fucking idiot pussy wimps. They have nothing to do in life but go around looking to be offended because they have never faced hardships, life has been easy street in their spoiled soy boy life. The feminists are the ones who do it on the ladies side as well. They are looking for you to say something sexist. Which is sad, I personally love sexist jokes, they are funny as fuck.
