Definitely neo feudalism. That’s why Trump had to go. Secure borders and bringing back manufacturing would not be tolerated. Send all manufacturing and well paying jobs overseas. What can’t be will be filled by illegal immigrants willing to work for slave wages.

Interested in Liberalism comparison of ethnocentric nationalism and multiethnic nations. Example: Japan, China, Korea, Sweden VS. Paraguay, Uruguay, Yugoslavia (former), Chile. And: Mexico? USA? History: The title promises a historical perspective. But we are in a new place: Travel and shipping containers example. So, Is history of little help understanding our present condition? Caesar & Napoleon never dreamed of our travel/transport abilities. So there is little we can learn from them to help today? Immigrants: In 19th century USA there was manual labor for everyone. Few skills are needed for: picks, shovels, saws and the rest. Assimilation through labor was much easier. Yugoslavia (former): Only Functioned under a strong dictator. With Titos passing, it all fell apart. Sudeten Germans: They were Driven out of Czech Republic after the war - a huge tragedy. Payback for Anschluss policies in the war. Todays immigrants: They don’t like each other. So, They can not work together. When forced to leave/return home, they will not put up an opposition.
