Academy of Ideas just posted a great video about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4jzzDYLgro

I remember when I bought a new van for work, I thought everything is watching and thinking how nice my van is

Understood… but sometimes people mention things in history as a deflection when they're losing an argument.

ehhh… that's kinda the opposite of a sociopath… speaking from experience here because I was directly connected to someone who was actually diagnosed as a sociopath… sociopaths create fake personas and stories to manipulate people into being their friend. The "me too" movement is a perfect example of that. 95% of these women are lying when they say they got raped or assaulted.

CREATING SOMETHING is more important than anyone "receiving" a spotlight. I was confirmed in my notion by Marcel Proust and WHY he spent the last 14 years of his life writing that/those books. This is why I got into the music business, created albums, podcasts, mixtapes, a radio show, wrote blogs, etc.. These "things" that you create will live on longer than you do. Even longer than your family's memory of you. So, even your kids (and so on and so forth) won't carry on your legacy. Movies, Books, Writings, Music… these things are eternal. In the words of Tupac Shakur "Money come and go, hoes come and go, foes come and go, friends come and go… my soldiers stay eternal" –– https://aded.us/mb

Persevere, we are not weak pussies, this will also end.

Don't despair, there are literally MILLIONS of people that think exactly like you do.

Great vid CRP, I have been appalled at the rhetoric since trump was elected but even more so in the wake of recent events here in America. I am witnessing so called friends calling their fellow Americans Terrorist with zero irony. And these are your run of the mill liberal types who have successfully been indoctrinated into critical race theory without them even knowing it. It has disabled their critical thinking faculties and replace it with what I call empathetic hatred. I’m screaming from the rafters about how this doesn’t end well but sadly I’m treated like some asshole conspiracy theorist who is somehow racist for knowing history. Needless to say it has been extremely disheartening and I’m not sure how to get through to people. Any suggestions are welcome, this seems like one of the few places where people seem to be sane.

Yup

Smoking a lot really helped with this in my 20s.....🤣

Because it's impossible. You can't pay atttention to everything. Out brain cut a lot of stuff for example our nose.

This reminds me of the gorilla suit experiment. People don't see what they're not looking for.

I guess I never cared what other people thought of me. Am I a sociopath?

In your life, you will be lucky if 5 people care about you. Others don't give a fuck, they have to pay the rent. Don't be fooled by ghosts.

Same here !! It's kind of funny on contrasting the reality,

This rings so true on so many levels: my past life, martial arts, and I'd even say the whole face culture here in Asia

Wow, that's strange. People here claims that they see everything. It took me few years to see some plant missing in my backyard.

Uggh Gonzalo, you hit home. This is a painful problem I've got, thanks for pointing it out. As they say, 50% of the problem is acknowledging it.

What to do when you are burning to tell people obvious stuff that they don't see without being fired, ostracized or both. If there is a volcano exploding 2 miles away from the village it makes sense to tell everybody so I can save as much people as I can.

I'm a 24 year old retail manager. I work harder than all of my peers and employees. I really struggle with this. No one notices problems or they are aware of issues and just do not care. I'm struggling to just take a step back and delegate more tasks. Thanks coach. This video was great!

Truly inspiring insights - I love this. This is the kind of concept that’s so difficult to come across.

Great topic you picked this week Coach! You shared some really valuable thoughts with us, thank you!

"Other people don't notice anything" That is the key for me. I notice everything, so I always think everyone is noticing what I am doing. Drives me insane. Great video Coach

I was worried a onlyfans account was coming in the beginning

Thanks internet Dad!!!
