search for a "Snipping tool" in your Windows and make a snippet out of the list. You can also press shift+windows+s to achieve the same thing
2021-06-11 10:34:53 +0000 UTCYou're right about marking up a book. I highlight anything interesting. I also write in the margins... usually cross-references to other books. People look at me like I'm committing some great sin. "Oh my GOD! You're ruining that book!" LOL.
2021-04-25 08:48:45 +0000 UTCPlenty of good stuff in the 20th century: Lolita - by Nabokov (a.k.a why you should not be a SIMP) Gone With the Wind - by Margaret Mitchell (book, not the movie) is a PhD thesis in female psychology DH Lawrence - Sons and Lovers and Lady Chatterly's Lover, bot good reads about understanding romance and desire from a female perspective. The Power Broker - Robert Caro

2021-03-13 05:59:34 +0000 UTCIt's long. Thankfully the sequel is shorter.
2021-03-10 12:59:18 +0000 UTCIf you like Milton you will gladly enjoy Goethes Faust. It goes into the same drive but more into the soul level, but also the mind. It is really great and German writing especially of that era but also well into the 20 century. It would be worth an extra stream if Coach is into it.
2021-03-04 20:52:53 +0000 UTCWithout wanting to kick off a religious debate I was wondering what you thought of The Bible? Just as a book/text.

2021-02-24 14:29:02 +0000 UTCThis was one of your best. I ordered the Greek and Roman; the middle ages books. Im already halfway through the iliad (Stephen Mitchell translation). Took me about 3 days to get used to the rhythm. The last 2 days I've zoomed through it. Im surprised how easy of a read it's been.
2021-02-24 09:57:17 +0000 UTCloved this. Excellent stuff
2021-02-22 16:31:16 +0000 UTCThen get cracking! It’s a great book—and surprisingly fun to read.
2021-02-18 14:30:56 +0000 UTCI've bought the Gulag Archipelago a month ago and haven't started reading it.

2021-02-17 19:22:49 +0000 UTCБесы are translated to english chorts I think. At least wiki says so. But most of englishmen won't know what it's. And I don't see any difference in reading ebooks and books. I remember the same. Does reading manuals, reciepies counts as this reading muscle?
2021-02-16 18:59:33 +0000 UTCHey Coach, wanted to ping you on the 1776 report video. Would still love to see that at some point.
2021-02-16 14:13:55 +0000 UTCThank you so much Coach!
2021-02-16 06:31:52 +0000 UTCExcellent, many thanks. Interesting what you left out: Catcher & the Rye, Moby Dick, to kill a mockingbird. The best '20th century' writers went to hollywood - wow. And comic books too? Hemingway on writing - style over content and story telling?
2021-02-15 18:45:09 +0000 UTCTRIP: You should use Google Keep to keep book notes etc. I travel a lot and all of my hard copy notes are gone forever. It also helps solidify the concepts in your mind. Even if you use physical notes you can take pictures of the physical notes and OCR them as a book up. I enjoy audiobooks. With Libby you can check books audio etc for free with your library card anywhere in the world.
2021-02-15 04:49:33 +0000 UTCI am on Goodreads? I love it. I read a book a week
2021-02-15 04:38:41 +0000 UTCHow come there are no FLASHMAN Series? THE XIX CENTURY VICTORIAN CHAD
2021-02-14 22:30:33 +0000 UTCGonzalo would you consider setting a profile on goodreads? I think you could have nice community of book readers there, cheers! i can be your friend friend ;)
2021-02-14 21:49:26 +0000 UTCIs there a way to make a copy of the screen notes?
2021-02-14 20:20:43 +0000 UTCThis is a wealth of information. Your passion for the written word shows here. I want to listen to this at least once more. Thank you for this labor of love.
2021-02-14 20:08:15 +0000 UTCThanks so much, this is invaluable! Also, I think the reason why we tend to forget e-books quickly is because of the habit of scrolling down social media for quick thrills all to be quickly dismissed.

2021-02-14 18:21:32 +0000 UTCI agree. I can get through audio books much quicker. My view is that if you can understand it all from the audio book, then it’s fine. But some audio books are much harder to understand. I think it just comes down to the book and the narrator
2021-02-14 17:20:27 +0000 UTCWhat are your views on audio books? I find them very convenient as they’re much easier to squeeze into your day while walking or commuting as opposed to setting aside time to read a book exclusively. But is it similar when it comes to remembering the content as it is when reading from eReaders?
2021-02-14 16:59:55 +0000 UTCFYI: there is software (don’t have name handy) that can “send” your ereader highlighted parts to other places. I’ll try to remember to post info when I run across it. I prefer physical books for most things.

2021-02-14 16:58:20 +0000 UTCI've been looking forward to this. I miss the Coach and Benway discussions on literature. They inspired me to expand beyond sci-fi and nonfiction
2021-02-14 16:14:10 +0000 UTCMemento the book
2021-02-14 16:10:10 +0000 UTCBeen waiting for this 🔥🔥🔥
