"Not All" is a conversation stopper; a tactic. In my experience, when a feelings-based person cannot counter your logic or evidence they claim, 1). you are promoting an invalid conclusion [Not-All], 2). that this is an indication of your bias/prejudice/evil. 3). conclude that ALL statements from YOU therefore flawed and not worthy of consideration. Notice this tactic does and end-run around the topic and vilifies the speaker.

Generalisation is the beginning of wisdom.

To your point at the start where you say: “we’re going through a time where they’re rejecting statistics [basically]”. Is similar to your sexual & natural selection video. Religions always reject science or the science which goes against their religion, we simply have a new religion, so they reject a different part.

I have been telling people this for the longest time. You have a sense of judgement for a REASON. Behavioral Pattern Recognition is key to your survival. Stereotypes exist for a reason too.

The not all is part of the modern philosophical thought that leads to transgender moment. Not all women have periods. Not all women can have kids, some people born as women can’t have kids. Are they not women? Therefore trans women are women, blah blah… it’s pure sophistry and dangerous.

Actually, you should keep in mind that there are always a minority of exceptions on the edges of the distribution but keep your guard up against the majority and especially when groups of people are acting in unison.

However, these patterns, which we recognize and derive a generalization from them, can also be very dangerous. Murphy's Law turns the whole thing around. I fell backwards while ice-skating two years ago and have had a health problem ever since. I didn't even know that it was possible and hardly any of the people on the track wore a helmet. So I assumed that it wasn't necessary for me either. So here the exception and Murphy's law struck. Anything that can be dangerous should be very vigilant. EDIT: What also needs to be said: My accident might not have happened if I had behaved normally. Most of the time I don't follow the mainstream. That's why I might have had to be extra careful and that's why the general rules don't apply to me. Because I was very tired because I had an exaggerated birthday party, which hardly anyone else does. There were also difficulties in saying no. Perhaps one can then say that if one behaves like the exception, then one must expect exceptions as well.

Not all Y are X, but a significant amount of Y are X. Under certain circumstances, you may engage with an individual Y, because s/he might not be an X, so keep your guard but don't be too judgemental. If that Y displays too much X'ness, assume that this individual Y is an X, and cut contact. But when dealing with a group of Y's, you can be assured that they will amplify each other's X'ness, and that's why you can be judgemental against groups, and you should stay away from them. But there will also be times when you should be judgemental against an individual Y, because the risk of him/her being an X might be too high, so keep your own safety at the highest priority.

This video misses one key point. People who counter argue with an argument NotAll, are actually right!! Not all Y are X. So this argument disarms most people including me. I would really like to know how to counter argument it this kind of situations and be more right then them.
