Patreon's Changes, the BumbleKast, and You

Thanks to you, the BumbleKast has enjoyed three seasons and launched BumbleKast Gaming. The majority of you have been with us since the beginning, and we cannot properly express just how thankful we are for your loyal support.
Patreon has just implemented a new billing system that changes how fees are attributed. Originally, creators paid a percentage of all pledges for being hosted by Patreon and all of its other services. Now that fee will be shifted to the patrons. You all will be charged more so that we receive a larger percentage of the pledge and Patreon keeps making the same amount, if not more.
We know that finances are tight for everyone these days, and we understand if some of you need to adjust your pledges to keep within your budgets. As always, any amount helps us, and we’re just thankful for the support. But we wanted to be upfront with the change and what this means for the BumbleKast.
At present, we are not looking to change anything on our end just yet. Patreon is receiving a lot of feedback (read: backlash) over this decision, so things may change down the line. We are also open to suggestions from you guys on how you’d like us to proceed, and we’ll weigh all the input together.
Thank you again for being our patrons. We’ll keep dishing out the content, and we’ll play the rest by ear.
