Thanks for the pomo fix! Loved how Victor couldn't help but go full lib at the end and be like "sorry guys, I got to go to VOOT to do my civic duty even though I know they're not going to win". Classic. A really interesting concept I came across in my psychology of communication classes was the 'postmodern self', where because of the internet and social media it was now possible to experience different cultures without actually having to step out of your bedroom and that social media made it possible not only to curate the ideal self but to create multiple selves depending on different online contexts, and so what was seen as the self in the past fractures into many more than was possible before the internet. And I think that fits in nicely with systems theory in that different systems process different aspects of the same individual without the entire individual ever being the complete subject of such processing.
