You talked about hearing from people with things like adhd who struggle with reading - this might not work for some people but I have struggled at times with reading on account of adhd and mental health shit that makes reading a book difficult, and recently my vision has been impaired in a way that makes reading difficult most of the time - LibriVox has an ok collection of philosophy audiobooks (it is all public domain shit so it is all pre 20th century shit - but they have off the top of my head some Hegel, Nietzsche, Bergson, whitehead, freud, Kierkegaard other stuff that I can’t remember), and if your flush I know audible have a bunch of zizek and Walter Benjamin and probably more stuff that I might know about if I was willing to fork out for it. I find audiotory learning works pretty well for me, it might work for others too…?

2022-03-22 01:47:25 +0000 UTCim biased because the level of your current + previous content fits a niche that works for me - i had no background in philosophy and the videos bridged the gap that allowed me to start working through the books i wanted to read. that said, im the kind of nerd who filled a notebook just working through the pills back catalog and i get thats not for everyone. i want to see you make a living out of this channel and ill support whatever moves you think will help you hit a wider audience - still plenty of room for nerd content in the concept.vlog and patreon pods as well.
