Our guest this week, Aaron Anderson, argues that Christianity and socialism not only have shared goals, but that uniting these goals serves as a basis for organizing in opposition to the unholy alliance of Christianity and right wing politics.

2022-04-16 20:30:47 +0000 UTCSuper late to the comment party but as a non-christian who was always fascinated by the liberation theology of latin america, hearing Aaron and Matt talk about christian socialists organizing was very enlightening. Here on the old continent the willingness and/or compulsion to profess your religion seems alway a bit on the nose but with the visibility of the christian crazies, a viable pushback from the sane portion of believers seems necessary and is very welcome!
