For Ian (Kyle can answer, too. I like when Kyle gives his thoughts): How does someone get into writing comics books as a profession? How did you decide that you wanted to use your skills as a writer to earn a living? I know a lot of folks out there who are interested in getting into comics to do the visual aspect, pencils, inking, coloring, etc, but not quite as many folks seem interested in the writing aspect. For you, was it more of a formal process, submitting applications/auditions, going thru the ol' interview process, or was is it more of a "you have to know someone on the inside" kind of deal? Just curious how all that works. No particular reason why.

There's something that we're working on for 2020 in IDW Sonic where a core component was received well but was deemed inappropriate for the franchise, and I don't mean that in an adult way, I mean that it was "out of theme". (...) So I had to reconfigure things and it lead to some interesting new directions for one of the characters involved

Since we're in 2021 now, is it safe for you to go into more detail about this?

Hey guys, sorry to bother you at work. I'm curious, we've seen the Master Emerald shattered a few times. I assume that means the Chaos Emeralds can be similarly broken. My question is this. Can the Chaos Emeralds be destroyed completely? What would happen if they were?

Like when you talked before at length about Under The Red Hood, how do you feel about the recent interactive adaption of #Batman Death in the Family? Like you, I hold UTRH in the highest regard, but came out of the feeling conflicted.

In IDW Sonic issue 36, Amy said that If she knew she was going to fight a Snowy, she would have worn her good boots. Is it different from her regular boots? Maybe they have cleats?

In recent years I've noticed a lot of spotlight has been given to The Deadly Six in a lot of your stories recently. From their appearances as antagonists in the Worlds Unite story, to the hinted Lost World adaptation Post-Reboot, their role in the Metal Virus saga, and even featuring Zavok as a key player in the Bad Guys mini-series. So I gotta ask, what's the obsession? Do you think they're just fun to write, or do you see untapped potential in them you'd like to explore?

I'm going to go on a whim and guess you don't consider Dynamite Dux (the game with Bean's father) to be canon but if you did how would you go about fitting that into the Sonic Universe you e been molding the past so and so years you've been doing the comics?

The mandates involving themes such as Shadow's personality, the relationships between characters (Team Dark), Team Dark working for G.U.N. and the Super Forms would not be something exclusive only to the IDW Comics? Or does it also affect the games? I really hope this only applies to IDW, on the contrary, we would have a chaos of inconsistencies that I don't even want to imagine

are the Shadow Androids in Whisper's backstory based on the Yellow or Orange Androids from the Shadow the Hedgehog multiplayer, if Orange what is your opinion on the Yellow I have theories but it's design seems more organic than the others

I was wondering if you would love to do a comic, like an Archie comic or something like that spoiling Charmy bees hair once his helmet falls by accident because he gotten hit by one of the bad guys during the fight
