2023-11-18 06:24:23 +0000 UTCA lot of really smart people havenβt done enough of this already as it is, and ultimately, your one system is always going to be at least a little reductive and wonβt be able to explain absolutely everything anyway. That said, I do love theorists who make broad, sweeping generalizations about the state of the world, as long as their assertions are backed up. Or unless theyβre Baudrillard, who always gets a pass.

I've been writing a book about capitalism and Mental illness, and I often refer to theorists, and I'm so nervous about getting some detail wrong that's its almost paralyzing, and I'm often using direct quotes in attempts to justify my readings, and this dweeb just goes and says whatever the hell he wants and gets published. Just astonishing. Inspirational really.
