Will the setting of sonic prime take place on Mobius or sonic’s world?

Vanilla the Rabbit, the only "canonical" parent chatacter by today's media. The mother of Cream. How old is she? If she had Cream at a young age, say around 18, she would only be about 24. And more importantly, what of the father of Cream? Is he away on business? Perhaps lost his life to one of Eggmans schemes in the last?

No one really talks about it, but the idea of Vanilla being a young, single mother is kind of tragic, and, as a parent myself, makes me appreciate her a little bit more as a character.

Doesn't have to be an "official" answer, just your personal views on it.

To follow up my previous Drogune ask, you forgot Rotor and Bunnie (don't worry, I take partial blame, I didn't specify the exact range of "main cast" and you guys got sidetracked). Might as well throw in Sticks too. I do kinda dispute using "he can fly" as the rationalization for making Tails an Enchanti because part of his deal (at least in some continuities, like Archie, Sonic the Comic, maybe X? never watched it but I remember seeing some screenshots of him being bullied for having two tails by a monkey?) is that while he can naturally fly, that's Not Normal for foxes in general.

Who wrote this story? Why was it an online exclusive instead of in a comic book? Why was it made at all? Etc

I swear, this is the last question relating to ShTH... for now. Why would Shadow want to find the truth about his past when he already established in Heroes by the end of the Team Dark campaign that he doesn't care about his past anymore? And why would he not want to help a city that's being invaded? That's not what Shadow would do in a situation like this. He is not selfish, he would help Westopolis if it's being invaded.

Is there anything you can tell us about the recent IDW Sonic delays? Issue 37 has been pushed out over a month now. If not, could we get an overview of what comic books you've been contributing to of late? If that's also not possible, perhaps just some recommendations?

Are robotic versions of characters allowed to be made aside from the Metal characters? I’d love to see other series of doppelgängers like Silver, Robo, and Mecha as well as any new ones, and not just of Sonic. I’d also love to see Tails’ Mecha Tails (aka T-Pup in the Archie Comics). It’s strange that he made his own Mecha robot that we’ve never seen again, but the same can be said of a lot of things in Sonic.

Since Sonic Chronicles isn't really canon, do the Gizoids have a different origin or something? Is that whole realm something that SEGA is keeping even you in the dark on? I think it's cool that IDW Sonic can use stuff like Gemerl (and SEGA has a hand in his portrayal,) so his existence there made me wonder if anything's changed regarding the Gizoids.

Since Shadow, Rouge & Omega aren't teammates (or friends for that matter) how come they are often seen with each other in games after Heroes (i.e. 06 & Forces) as well as the IDW comics?

And I know that you've said that Shadow is the hardest character to write for in the comics due to the mandates but is there is anything story-wise that you'd be allowed to write for him where he can have character growth/development that doesn't make him an extreme edgelord or would it honestly be easier if you didn't have to include him in the comics at all?

In the Pre-Super Genesis Wave story The Silver Saga, we were introduced to a Guardian named Edmund P.X.E. It was referenced that in this alternative timeline & universe, his parents are Lara-Su & Argyle. Would they actually be his parents in this alternative universe and would this actually be canon to the series?

To make the question short and sweet, I was curious if it'd be possible for Cortez to "return". I know he was meant to appear in Sonic Universe #95, but seeing as the Archie books were dropped before it's completion and release, I was wondering if he could still be on the table since he never made his official Archie debut! I obviously won't give you any fan ideas for him, but just seeing him would be cool!

Since you work at IDW now and they have a My Little Pony comic have you ever been involved with making any of the stories besides the Transformers crossover?

Hello again! In Sonic Universe #2 we see a heartfelt moment of Sonic saving Shadow from falling again where he was unable to in SA2. Including a flashback of said SA2 moment, and Sonic shown to reach out to him, but in the actual game, we don’t see what he tries at all. I was curious if you had a discussion with SEGA behind that of what Sonic was trying to do during that moment? Especially if they told you what he tried considering Archie is the only Sonic media that showed what Sonic did during that moment. And if that discussion didn’t happen, I’m curious what both of your guys’ theories are as to why Sonic couldn’t save Shadow.

I have a follow up question regarding Blaze and Silver teaming up. If a team up between the two is unlikely unless there is some sort of calamity, have you given thought to how you’ll approach their friendship in general looking forward in the IDW series? Despite being best friends in the games, I get the impression they will stay in their home worlds in the comic series unless there is a need for them to appear. Do you think there are ways to keep their friendship ongoing in the comics while still respecting their duties?

IAN: Ian did you ever watch the Uncut/Japanese version of Sonic X? If you did what did you think of how the uncut version of Yellow Zalkova's death was a nod to the death of Metal Sonic in the OVA?

KYLE: did you like the Sonic OVA much? Aside from a couple scenes with classic anime high-jinxes it overall seemed like a good story. Especially since it gave us Knuckles' treasure hat, and had iconic moments with Metal Sonic.
