I got some Richard Dawkin's "Memes" from this video. Just in the way of how our ideas are actually conveyed and transmitted. It's not "Top-Down," it's "Bottom-Up." So. As a teacher, we have these conversations all the time. Basically: how can we make education more compelling than a phone, or a video game, or streaming services. How does someone make a pleasure "enjoyment" instead? We never found the answer to that question, largely because we were dealing with children who had very little control, and especially when they are gathered in the presence of their peers. So I am continuing this series, but I have some doubts about this position. Hoping I'm proven wrong.

I guess as an American this just seems intuitive. That's why the most conservative states are always (1) the most commercial, and (2) the most likely to host music festivals where "dangerous drugs" are as ubiquitous as they are illegal. I like the description of the forces of change as diabolical. That's djinn-ius.
