Still the theorytube goat, and that’s without mentioning anything regarding the editing or production of the actual videos on your channel. I think you can tie what you’ve said here into Baudrillard’s concept of the object mass as one which doesn’t, on an unconscious level at least, believe in certain ideological assumptions. For example, politicians have been shown to repeatedly break kayfabe all the time in those photos where they’re shaking each other’s hands and hanging out at functions and whatever, and yet the public continues to (or chooses to act like they) believe in the fantasy of the 2 major parties being opposed to each other. There are mountains of evidence showing how both parties are funded by capital and will preserve the system no matter what (in all countries), and yet people keep participating in elections and believing they have a say in the political process.

I've been so tired of the liberal disbelief about Trump's egregious lies! I had been only thinking of it in terms of an epistemic echo chamber, as described by C. Thi Nguyen. It didn't explain all the evangelical fawning over this ass. Kayfabe! I say keep following your intuitions about the philosophy you want to do.

Like I’ve read about both multiple times and I have a vague idea that ontology has to do with lists. But like ok? Why do you think there’s no stakes to it?
