So it doesn’t require faith, belief, except that maybe one of the laws is to have to believe in it? Anyway, as w everything — techno-reduced to mechanism . Operational, like the Law of thermodynamics . No broader theory required.

And then kinda like you said this tangents to maybe Lacanian psychoanalysis.. and from there to something else. But not filling the void. I am curious… hacking the Universe. The universe is a mechanism you can hack. I def want to too. I don’t always want to be so outside and marginal…. But, how does this work? The mechanism idea is still a hope, a comfort. It’s something organizing meaning. But who says all metaphysics is bad… ? So what’s the criteria for good and bad metaphysics? What is the difference? Are we back to the ol good vs bad copy?

Placebo nutrition induces overproduction, voids territorialised with more voids. Maybe there can be enough layers to produce real sustenance, or is that just a mirage?

This is about as far as I made it so far, but just here to say this was a very timely pleasant surprise and enjoying to hear your perspective having just read it and it alone, having only the perspective of my own "in the moment" reflections after affections. All those damn sticky notes (re: discord PDF). Fwiw, I didn't find reading W&R pessimistic. If anything, I was constantly giggling and laughing (annoying the shit out of my GF lol), sometimes it was just his random page long rants against Hegel, or when he basically calls Caucasians the inferior, accidental race 😂, sure, but mostly it was just from his descriptions of the obvious but oft repressed examples of human toil and trouble, the comedy and rediculousness of it all if one doesn't take it so tragically, so seriously. I'm currently engaged in an experiment ala the somewhere around 1:10:00 to 1:16:00 "get life aligned in such a way that one can focus on the mindful watching and pacification of the wills and urges that run roughshod otherwise every waking second of everyday." It's slow and steady, but it is there, the infrastructure is laid until WW3 or whatever, then we'll see how far my practice in impermanence has come, but it comes, in fits, bits and blips, and when it is, it is so, so very peaceful and humorous, cheerful, recognizing the wills, unmasking the suffering like Scooby Doo, laughing at yourself like you're Charlie Brown, having just had the football pulled away for the 10,000th time, dusting yourself off. It's all a real hoot, a sure fire cure for boredom (and misery) lmao.
