We all know that the Death Egg is a parody of the Death Star...but..in an episode of Sonic Boom, an alternate version of Eggman had a laser sword...so.. what do you think the chances are that Eggman is secretly a huge Star Wars nerd?

Ya know how Eggman does his performed announcement theatrics everytime he's back to doing a scheme? Does he practice it before broadcasting what he's doing with cubot and orbot as an audience or is that all freestyle?

In fact does all villians practice their theatrical speech when revealing themself or do they freestyle and which one do you think has the most fun doing the theatrical "I'm here and doing another scheme!" part of villiany?

Now as with before, I'm not too sure if you're [familiar] with the Little Nightmares games, but what always gets me is that the first game had its own comic. And it had much more original content going on with it; it introduced some new characters, it had some interesting stories, it was overall expanding the world of the games by a little, and it wasn't just a straight up advertisement like Little Nightmare 2's mini-comics. Long Story short though, it got canceled due to what I can only assume was a lack of interest at the time, but given the 2nd game's popularity and the sheer potential to expand on the overall eldritch world of the games, not to mention Bandai Namco's interest in continuing to delve into the franchise, would it be worth it to make another series of comics for it? Would you be interested in trying your hand at writing it or is it a little outta your comfort zone?

While Sonic and the Freedom Fighters had their memories of the old continuity, did they remember the people that were lost forever? So many characters had loved ones that were either erased from existence or replaced, and I always thought the implications of that were unsettling.

I recently had an absolutely delightful experience playing Sonic 1 Master System remake (thank you again Kyle for introducing me to it, and NO, I will never shut up about it!), so I was wondering what some of your favourite Sonic fangames are? Ian, I'm not sure whether or not you can answer this one due to your "no fan works" policy, but I'd imagine there are some that would be okay, like the Sonic 3D Blast director's cut or Angel Island Revisited, perhaps?

This is very much Non-official but I wanted to hear your guys take.   Why , in your opinion, are Sonic and Tails such good friends?  Before saying anything  (A) Sonic 2 (B) Tails looks up to Sonic, and Sonic likes the little guy and his gizmos (C) There's the story of them meeting on the beach with the Tornado (I think? my memory fail me)...but is that really it? The duo are iconic together...best buds...almost brothers...but aside A& B, why?  Sonic is amiable, but never really sticks around, save Eggman shenanigans, and  Tails has been the Smart one  (ala Donatello or Gadget Hackwrench) since Adventure.   What do they have in common?  What do they talk about when they're not adventuring?  Do they share hobbies? Why not...say Knuckles or Amy?  The closest I can compare them to would be Doc Brown and Marty McFly (and that's essentially the same question).

Priority Q&A: Since Fang was confirmed to be a jerboa-wolf  hybrid, have you been given any explanation on how that's possible? I would have assumed in the Archie days that maybe his parents were a wolf and a jerboa, but now I wonder if that's still possible. Or perhaps he's a hybrid due to some experiment or something else? And I might as well ask if his official name is Fang or if it's still Nack while Fang is his nickname just like how they did with Robotnik and Eggman?

And if classic sonic is sonic from the past or a alternate dimension version of sonic or is the classic world a alternate dimension or a split timeline created by the events of generations I really don’t care what the answer is as long as I can finally get a real answer from saga . Greetings my homies! I've been thinkin'.... A Sonic and Ratchet & Clank crossover? Ian, I know you're not as knowledgable of the franchise of R&C, but how would you play out these two pairings if possible? (Kyle you can jump in on this, too) Since I think both series would work wonders together. How would both Drs. Eggman and Nefarious bromance be involved in the plot? (If you don't know who Dr. Nefarious is, he's basically like Eggman/Wily combined.

Ian, I'm curious how you go about the writing process when you write and arc for Sonic. Could you describe how you form the idea, go through the drafts, and edit it down to the final arc? Do you bounce ideas off of Aleah/Kyle/Evan/ect.? How involved are the Archie/IDW editors? Does an idea come up mid process that makes you re-do everything you've written thus far and make you start over?

In the archie comics is is shown that sonic can vibrate his molecules to become intangible. Can he do this easily and for how long do you think he can do that?

I know Rough & Tumble have a power called “stink bomber” and “grand stink bomber”. Is it like actual skunk spray and how a skunk sprays in real life but with a spindash? I’m just curious.

Do you know if Paramount had to follow any Sega mandates like you? If so, were they as strict? In the film, when Sonic is running on the baseball field, he almost cries and gets pretty emotional and I'm sure with Sega's mandates, that original Manhog would've never been approved. Despite this, the fact that Longclaw isn't Sonic's actual mother lines up with Sega's "No familial relationships" rule.

If you have the time, I wanted to type you a question regarding writing for franchised characters. You breathed such life into these comics. Especially the universe run. I know sega comes in and vetos creative decisions, that you work with a more minimal palette than you probably want. But somehow you never made it seem like that! You took these characters that HAD to be somewhat static for branding purposes and still painted such believable, enticing character-driven drama with them.

The world we live in is quickly losing originality. I fear I will be (and as a fan, somewhat look forward to?) writing for projects that are never original ever again. I want to know if you had any advice onwriting for franchises. Like, how can I take a character like sonic or his friends, who already has a whole setup ahead of them, and write a logline that will make a reader go “yes! THIS has bite! This is using the characters to their fullest!” Because your work is full of those... stories where shadow wants to reason with robots, because as another weapon he relates. Stories where silver goes to an alternate, enerjak controlled future. Stories where King Max is seen as the more complex, divided ruler he always was.
