re: Fleetway's Sonic being a jerk, having binged the whole run recently, he is definitely written as one! While still a heroic character, he's got the usual Sonic arrogance turned way up, insults his friends, and generally behaves like someone a lot more self-absorbed and a lot less self-aware than the depictions we got in the US. It's a really interesting take that I enjoyed.
