Kyrie doesn't play with that chip on the shoulder like IT. Crowder and Bradley were the other 2 emotional leaders and are both gone. It will be interesting to see who becomes that guy. Smart and the Morris twin should give them some grit to go along with solid vet leaders in Hayward and Horford.

AA, what do you think about the loss of IT's intangibles? I know the Celtics are coming into the 2017-2018 season with a HUGE change in personal, but I find it hard to deny that Isaiah's passion was a big driving force with the team from last year, especially in playoff time (playing after sister's death, etc). Do you think Kyrie can bring the same force to the new-look Celtics as The King in the Fourth? Although I feel Kyrie is a better scorer, I feel IT inspired and carried his team to a higher level than many give him credit for, something that people give Jordan an edge on Kobe for. Can Irving recreate that?

As I said elsewhere, to me, both teams have stirred the pot with new talent and egos, so you need a chef (coach) to make it work and Boston has one while Cleveland does not.

The Cavs would be fools to let that pick go for another aging star when they are about to get left high and dry.

It will be interesting to see if LeBron differs to IT as much he did Kyrie. That trust doesn't happen over night.

Interesting take I think you are right that this largely doesn't affect the warriors but I do think that it's the Cavs that won that trade not the Celtics even before you consider the pick. Lost their second best player, gained their rivals best player. Then when you factor in that most players look better when playing next to Lebron his effect on IT will be interesting. Also feel like Isaiah will be able to run the offense while Lebron is sitting because Isaiah is used to running a offense. Jae crowder is a bonus as a cohesive part of Boston largely due to his defence, defence being something that the Cavs really struggled with last season.

I feel both teams are not done making move just yet. I have a feeling Lebron will pressure that draft pick into carmelo, maybe packaged with korver? Ainge definitely has more coming too.

I used to get these value packs where you could pick 6 or 7 games a year. Trick was corner seats are best bang for you buck. But yeah I've been to a good 50 games before I moved out the bay.

always speakin straight facts. Im curious who you think is the better team between the rockets and spurs though. And if the dubbs go up against either team in the post season, how fast the dubbs will win in 7?
