I agree 💯 I’ve got a friend who is an AEW fan and while not full tribalism they refuse to go to Collision because no chance of seeing their favorite wrestlers.

2023-08-21 18:42:04 +0000 UTCYes, running two shows a week has definitely harmed ticket sales, especially if both Dynamite/Collision are in similar markets the same week or within a couple weeks time frame. Another aspect that doesn’t get brought up enough in regards to possible amplifications of low ticket sales is how TK has allowed the entire “Colliders” thing to continue. TK willingly allowing wrestlers (most prominently a big star like Punk) to stoke tribalism or an “us vs. them” mindset amongst his once unified, hardcore fan base is so short sighted/incredibly stupid. Why you would ever want to stoke an environment where fans might refuse to go to shows in their area because of some stupid tribalistic war amongst major stars on AEW’s roster is beyond me? Mistakes aplenty.

2023-08-21 13:49:13 +0000 UTCI know attendance has been down for AEW due to ticket price increases and visiting same markets, but it has it dipped further since Collision launched? I’ve noticed recently even hard cam center ring sections aren’t moving, and a lot more tix popping up on vettix and family pack deals
