couldn't have said it better myself

peppapig isabitch

Ikrrr also I feel like people just forget all he did to help others when it came to their performances, so the one time where he didn’t have to take a leadership position he decided to put himself first in a way that’s when everyone was talking to bash him and just forget about all the helping he has done with others and honestly it’s really sad also considering how young he is having all that pressure on him.

I've kinda heard too many people say some shit about Niki from this episode and I wanna say something myself finally cause I feel like y'all made a pretty negative assumption. So think of it like this: y'all upload mostly BTS videos and content so your only doing it for clout or your reactions to other groups aren't sincere. That's an assumption about y'all that can be made from ignorant people who don't know you. That's pretty much what you did to Niki here. Y'all were pretty quick to disregard all his hours and days of work helping other members throughout the whole show in favor of calling him selfish here when he's probably desperate and scared and finally has an older, talented member around to take over the leadership for once and he can focus on himself. Just to put some perspective here because I see a lot of people cut Taki more slack because he's cute and seems more young and his personality is more cheerful. But Taki is actually around 7ish months older than Niki. So just because Niki has more skill and is expected to help and lead everyone most of the time doesn't change the fact that he was like 14 (Koreans add 2 years to your actual age so when they say he's 16 they mean 14. He was born December 2005) here, didn't speak super fluent Korean, and still was expected to take care of everybody else and express himself to them in a different language. Not making excuses, this was probably a needed experience and learning curve for Niki, conflict happens and you can't avoid it but it brings you closer and when you know how to resolve it through experience its easier to deal with in the future. But y'all were sayin stuff like you saw that in him from the beginning and were just kinda making him out to be problematic more-so than the situation called for. Those are just some of my thoughts.

Phi Chan

Honestly, I think if anyone one had to go , I'm fine with it being Geonu... He just didn't have much charm and personality to me. I think that personality and charm go hand in hand with skills and professionalism.

Mel_.Chanelll

I mean I’m defending him about scolding Ni-ki where the others can hear him by saying he did it in Japanese to protect Ni-ki but if you guys want to inadvertently throw your boy under the bus for the sake of calling out a supposed k anti (one that spent the entire of ILAND desperately advocating for K because I felt like he was being evil edited) that’s your prerogative lmao

JustCakie

Some of us viewers also know then during Iland that Jay can speak fluent Japanese so I would also expect the boys who had spent 2 months together include the camp break & by this episode especially K (whom we saw he & Jay were very close ) to have known that Jay speaks fluent Japanese. So I do expect that K knows that Jay speaks fluent Japanese even then.

The girl I land auditions are closed so I guess it’s gonna be this summer like the boy iland :) so excited tho 😭✨✨❤️

I’m a Japanese, and I always love both K and Niki. I see people( not only here) are still arguing about their conflict. It was between them, and they know what was happening than us. And it’s really annoying that some people are so overprotective Niki. I know K was a kind harsh, but Niki had an attitude too. Don’t bring up the age, he’s 14. It doesn’t matter because Taki was 14, and Daniel was even younger than Niki, but he had still approached nicely to others when he had an opinion. Niki was also a kind harsh to other members at ground. I mean both Niki and K have strong personality that is not bad thing. They both have very strong professionalism mind. They always thought about and tried really hard to make team and performance the best. I love them so much, and I could see how much they love, care, respect and admire each other. I hope they don’t overprotect only their bias and blame others.

Hi 👋🏾

Maimouna Doucoure

what bothered me most about iland is that nobody (the viewers) took the time to understand what niki felt AT ALL. instead everyone bashed him saying he's self centered. this is a competition only 7 got to debut and niki wanted to everything he could in order to do so. he's not necessarilyself centered he's just doing what he thinks will help him more.

Lex

Because I said K and Jay speak Japanese? You’re a giant idiot, never annoy me by replying to my comments again

JustCakie

I’ve seen your comments, and I can tell that you obviously hate K. Don’t overprotect only your bias and blame K. I love both, so don’t just drag K down.

onetaka

Well heeseung not being the ace for no reason, he is great and eventhought he really want to debut, he still thinking of other member as well

anata_

agreee I think NI-KI is focus and quiet no because in the beginning they would make him leader and give him all the responsibilities. he is literally a kid

Maria

A little Korean lesson since you guys were confused: Koreans will says "hwaiting" (화이팅) OR "Paiting" (파이팅) ~they mean the same thing and are both a version of the loan word from English "fighting" used in the same context that we say "good luck" as you've already porbably guessed. Depending on who writes the subtitles, they will sometimes write "fighting" or "hwaiting" but it doesn't really matter it all means the same lol

Audrey Vasquez

Love your reactions so much thanks guys xx

Amber

They are professionals cause when Ni-Ki was getting bad comments, I’m here getting mad and the way K said it just kinda through me off. But it’s good that he put Ni-ki in his place as well.

Jaidah Requena

Thank you so much for this.

lerato ngubane

I just wanna say that the person with health problems is Sunoo not Daniel, because he got a big surgery a few months before he became a trainee.

Hazel Malaluan

I am so happy when you guys were hyping and praising Heeseung and Sunoo. Literally my bias and bias wrecker since the beginning of iland. <3

Hazel Malaluan

“I bet a lot of people cried” me: “yeah I did” “I bet people are crying rn watching us” me: *crying while watching them watch it even when it’s my 2nd time* 💀

Erica Lopez

I wish you could just react and upload all episodes now because I love your reactions 😄 but I understand that you have other things to do also haha

Nanna

Remember that Ni-ki is literally a child, K is 8 years older than him... I personally think K was being a little too harsh, and could've approached him differently about this - instead of reducing him to being only self-centered and a "solo artist", when Ni-ki is much more than that and has a big heart! To understand Ni-ki's side a little better: they said to the trainees that part 2 is an individual match, if you get eliminated you're going home, and Ni-Ki has always been in the bottom ranks (and literally was in the ground for most of the show), so ofc he's feeling the pressure

Nini

i remeber i cried a lot when i watched this before, i have soft spot for both gonu and daniel

jadey

I appreciate you guys so much I have been having the worst weekend and came on to see that you uploaded this early and on vimeo so that the playbacks don’t get exceeded this honestly made everything better I can’t wait to watch with you right after typing this, love you both 🥺❤️🍿

Kayley

Just know I appreciate you guys so much. I also felt bad that you guys uploaded this early for some reason. But Thank you.

Sydney

Ooh yes Kyungmin will be in Japanese group ryt I forgot about it. Thanks for correction. I totally forgot about the Japanese group

Cna Kim

Anna Storchak

Sam0709

thats why bts are so united they went through so much even more than this. this makes me emotional again toward bts🥺thanks for your reactions. btw there will be something like iland but for female group

Sam0709

Also please keep in mind as you watch this that Ni-ki was only 14. K isn’t wrong but Ni-ki is also a child

JustCakie

I only just noticed that Ni-ki and K are arguing in Japanese. I think K expected the other boys therefore couldn’t understand but Jay is near fluent in Japanese too 😂

JustCakie

it was actually sunoo who has a low stamina :)

tia

Wow, thank you for uploading this so quick :)

Anne Lemonade
