Blue & Grey made me cry when I first listened to the lyrics bc the pain and feeling like you're in your own grey bubble while the world seems to carry on its merry way hit me like a ton of bricks. This live performance was perfectly staged with the sparse setting and early morning lighting. I had heard Fix You a million times before but never rlly listened to the words, just knew the melody, so when I finally heard the lyrics while watching BTS cover it, I about bawled my eyes out. Something abt BTS' delivery but also knowing a little but abt their journey got me right in the 💜

2021-04-03 05:39:38 +0000 UTCNoooo Penthouse is such a trashy show- it's akin to watching American reality TV, which, letsbereal, is the equivalent of brainrot. Go with something like Mouse or Beyond Evil- amazing acting with great casts and some crazy twists in the script.

2021-04-03 05:29:40 +0000 UTCEnglish education in SK at this moment has come a long way- there are lots of native English speakers that go to teach in actual schools as well as hakwons (as well as more globalization of stuff like YT and Netflix) so that pronunciation and comprehension are way more polished than even BTS' generation. That said I think kpop idols of BTS' generation and earlier that can sing in English *well* clearly show how much time and care they took to practice.

So it's not that English is "easier" for other countries, it's that they are more or less forced to learn. However, it doesn't always stick for all of them. But also, once Jungkook was asked in an interview if singing in English is hard he said, "Its hard, crazy hard" haha

I just watched a clip today talking about all the different hair styles he has rocked: short, long, various colors. I had to laugh when you said he must have wigs. Two things, did you know V wrote "Blue, Grey" when he was at his most depressing moment? (According to him) and that live band is BTS band called Ghost. So many reactors could not believe BTS would attempt to do this cover. They nailed it 100%. You are right, I feel BTS did "Fix You" was better than the original. When you get a chance pull it up and compare the two.

As a Coldplay fan and an ARMY I was so proud when Coldplay gave BTS the go ahead to cover this song and even complimented them(Coldplay are very protective of their music and who they allow to publish their songs for commercial use esp. Fix You. This band once rejected a 55M pounds deal so that their hit songs won't be used in ads). BTS just made this song more beautiful and I won't lie I cried💜
