I think they edited Ta-Ki annoyingly compared to Ni-ki especially. I feel like Ni-ki and K got like stereotypical mean Japanese editing because they were confident and ambitious while Ta-ki was like cute and "non-threatening"

I get they were trying to be fair but the global vote was so wack lmao because it didn't take into account a lot of different factors besides popularity. Even with Heeseung and Sunoo in the end, those two were consistently favored from producers (H) and fans (S) but because people were worried about their other faves, they focused on voting for them thinking that certain people would be a shoe in so Heeseung was ranked 5th and Sunoo was ranked 8th. I personally like ENHYPEN as is and I knew Bang wanted to strengthen a Japanese unit so I see why K ended up there. I'm pretty sure K will be the leader of that group and it works because I don't think Japan has conscription so it's not like they have to worry about K having to go do military service. I think they have a bright future. Anyway, I'm rambling but yeah... the global vote this late in the game was not fair. I think they should have kept the global vote a part 1 thing or early in part 2 and the producers should have the fan vote in mind when making their choices too.

I’m sorry but I didn’t like taki after the fake love scenario it was all over Twitter they voted him out because there was fans upset that he had placed 4 out of pity. I personally didn’t like the ranks at that time but everything happens for a reason. As in the theory behind Jake winning the benefit was to help him beat out hanbin because hanbin was starting to rank hirer. The producers already had a line up I do believe that and it all came down to K or Niki to finish the list.

idk I still feel like a lot of people really overlook sunoo's talent and just attribute his popularity to him being cute. like yeah people like his adorable & bright personality, but that's not the sole thing keeping him in I-land and getting him votes. I'm not saying he's done better than like ni-ki or K, but if his skills were lacking to the point where he couldn't keep up and his group mates had to keep worrying about his performance, fans would not have kept him at #1 no matter how cute he is, and I think Taki getting voted out this round kinda proves it. he was precious and talented, but anyone could see he still had more room for improvement than the others.

...I know ous finna be mad asl for what I'm about to say but...I was okay with Ta-ki being eliminated. To me, he lacked a few skills that a k-pop idol must have. He was really cute and could grab a audience's attention with that cuteness but I don't think he could retain their attention with his skillset that was shown in the show. Maybe he's improved a lot since then though. Also I'm pissed that Ni-ki is at 9th place. W T H !!! Ni-ki literally deserves to be in the top 7... What were these global fans thinking? I know, they were going off of face value more than skill. Yes, attractiveness matters to some extent, but geez..... T A L E N T is the absolute breaking point. Yeah all the voting we did isn't based solely on the performances like yeah K was great in every performance but you have to take in personality and how well they will work in a group which in past episodes you can clearly see that K caused a lot of friction with the younger members.

His dance covers are one of the main reasons why he was so popular with fans on the show despite constantly being edited out. I personally loved that they really took into consideration the global votes, my only problem with it. Was that we could only vote for our top that we wanted to help that week.so the voting was kind of all over the place. I think the way they should have done it , is to let us pick our top 7 and that way they see what people kinda of wanted the final line up to look like. Not so much just pick one and that’s it.

At that point we had 2 votes a day. A lot of people used at least 1 vote to save Jay which is why he shot up to 3rd. Taki didn’t have the Japanese vote either, I think they said the highest votes in Japan were with Niki at that time? I can’t remember even though I just rewatched. Most of us were voting for who we thought needed it or who we wanted to save most from the bottom (ie. Niki or Jay over Taki, and a vote for Taki could have eliminated one of them) and this is also how members like Sunghoon and Jungwon dropped, because people assumed they were safe either way. Lastly there were people who would vote for their one pick and use their other vote on someone like Sunoo or Heeseung since they would be in the top anyways and it wouldn’t risk someone else taking their pick’s place in the top 7. People were also mass voting for Hanbin which is why he jumped up with Jay.

Taki was supposed to be eliminated by the producers during the bts test but since his group won Geonu was eliminated. So even if global fans saved him, I think producers would eliminate him in another test. Not because he's not talented, but because the competition is so fierce. The other participants are good too so it's hard to pick. Also, producers do eliminate ilanders. Global voting decides who gets eliminated in 2 tests (plus the final) and producers get to eliminate in another 2 tests (plus the final). So technically, I think this was a little more fair than part 1 where ilanders voted each other out. As someone who voted during global voting, I can assure you this was a tough decision because we could only vote for 1 person. You were inclined to vote for your bias to save him. I made my decision based on talent & personality so although I knew everyone was talented one way or another I could only vote for 1. If my bias was in the lower rank, I voted for him with all my accounts because I knew he was in danger. This actually happened during the final. I cant wait to see your reaction to the last episode...... the final was TOOO INTENSE & unexpected.

what they should have done with the voting was let us pick 7 members each week. Because we only got 1 or 2 votes a day, we wouldn't necessarily vote for our favorites, but the ones we thought were in trouble and needed more votes. So people we thought were safe would get much less votes only because we thought others were voting for them.. It was a pretty flawed voting system IMO. Still really happy with the debut group though!!

To explain it to you, part 2 elimination was producer(BTS mission)-global votes(chemi-test/flicker and dive into you) then producer again (chamber5&flame on) and for the final episode its 6 for global+1 producer pick..thats why they did a 2 week global voting for finals but sadly you can only vote for 2 trainees each acc..im so angry at that time..because global is about who have more fans..and they have each own fandom..yes..Iland trainees have each own fandom..hahahha exmple for Heeseung its called ACES, Sunghoon=Penguins, Jay=blueJays, Niki=Nikitties, K=Keiys, Jungwon=Eden because Jungwoon name in english is Garden, Jake=Jakeys, Sunoo=Sunshine, Daniel=Dandelions,Hanbin=Hannies...so if you happen to see this on twt..youll know. Before EngEne exists, there is Eggies..who is an Iland fan. Im sure you feel bad about Taki, we do too but even if Taki was #4 midpoint, fans really is very critical and thinks Taki is still young and have lots to learn but he is not ready to debut yet, that why he was eliminated by global votes. I still can remember how me and my friends was a mess this episode when we watched it livestream on BH channel. Like Heeseung said in the first Episode as they did the first test who can enter the I-land. Yes Taki is cute and all that stuff but he have a long way to go, so I understand that he is out. I would prefer Daniel more than Taki because I think that Daniel have more "experience" or have more to show than Taki? I cant describe it. But all I do is to agree what Heeseung said in the first episode of Taki. Anyways Ta-Ki will debut on 2021 under BigHit Japan. ^^ so wait for him.
