2025-01-03 09:13:03 +0000 UTCright, i think you guys didn't understand why NI-ki voted for taki, obviously this is a competition so you wanna vote the weak one out, but niki litterally said that he taught taki could do better if he trained a little bit better in the Ground because he had a weaker performance than everyone else, he didn't vote him out to be mean, he did it because he taught it could help his friend.

I disagree with @angie because yes there were others who were worse than Taki but Niki is looking out for his friend, he felt like taki could have been stronger and he wanted his friend to become stronger. Everybody always talk about Niki and Taki but no one ever talk about how EJ vote Daniel ( EJ friend) out not for the betterment on Daniel but so he could make new friends and EJ did not tell Daniel that he was voting him out like Niki told Taki. Taki was weak period, so what yall liked him and he was cute. Think about the skills of all the people who got in... Taki would have gotten voted out anyways ( don't get me wrong I love Taki). A lot of people only focus on who they like and not skill. Like how they voted Sunoo out and he had one of the best vocals but they said he didn't have character. None of them looked at skill from what I've seen but Niki...

I get that it was early on and they were still trainees so they don't realise the importance of collaborative leadership, but it was kinda of sad that they put centre and leadership all on him. (heaps of idol groups have the centre different to the leader) I guess he had to go through this experience though to become better so what's done is done. Its just unfortunate that it couldn't have worked out differently

Many people would have completely stopped if their mic dropped or went in full panic mode but Jake was like I have to carry on. Grant it, his face showed a " I just messed up big time." look but in my opinion his body more or less stayed calm and "on task" if you will.

2021-01-09 21:36:43 +0000 UTCi still found it weird that there were so many other people there that technically were at the same level as taki, or even lower, and he still sent taki home out of everyone. I do agree that the evil editing was ridiculous though, but for this one, it makes sense that they'd show this as it is brought up many times in the show. I felt really bad later in the show when he had to go through so much and you see him losing confidence.

2021-01-09 01:49:55 +0000 UTCyeah I agree with you. the main point is that niki was being objective. he saw potential in taki but also so much to improve. the fact is that i love how niki was being objective while the ilanders keep on sending other people who were good in the test to the ground in order to save their friends.

2021-01-09 00:41:04 +0000 UTCIts definitely surprising seeing them vote for their friends, but I think Ni-Ki, for example, was just being objective and he told Taki that if he went to the ground he'd likely get a chance to improve more and be able to come back. I don't really think there were any malicious feelings (and yes Taki and Ni-ki were friends before the show and they're both the same age (15 y. old) and Japanese so they've probably got lots in common! Even tho y'all weren't hating on Ni-Ki or anything just make sure to keep an open mind and don't just blindly follow mnets evil editing or whatever cause they tried really hard to make a 14 year old boy look villainous even though he really wasn't! Without spoiling anything, he had a lot of pressure and responsibility placed on him as one of the best dancers in I Land, even though he's the second-youngest there (Daniel being the youngest), so I hope you guys keep that in mind as you watch each episode :) THANKS FOR WATCHING THIS!!! I CANT WAIT TO WATCH YOU GUYS REACT TO THE REST! I LOVEEEE I LAND SO MUCH <3
