Haha okay so Ous take it from someone who has been learning 한글 for four years....tea and car are actually the same exact word and pronounced the same way. Context clues will usually hint to what 차 you are talking about. However the trouble for foreigners comes in because ㅈ and ㅊ have a subtle difference that if you accidentally pronounce 차 as 짜 or 자 then it will change the meaning entirely. So you really have to aspirate the "ch" sound.
