Added 2024-06-25 14:37:21 +0000 UTCI'm back with more updates, thank you for the support. This week's batch is quite big, I could make a lot of progress. Rest assured though, once a lot of medical equipment comes into play, progress is sure to slow down lol. So enjoy for now~ As you have seen prevously, their fellow students and teachers are doing their best to help the athletics club girls, but the situation is dire indeed. Most of them seem to be in cardiac arrest after the lightning strike with scary looking injuries to their bodies. Thankfully first aid training at school was quite good, so they all know the basics of what to do in such a situation, however it remains to be seen how much good that will do. Further complicating the situation is that they don't have enough people to help everyone, and the weather outside is quite dangerous, so the first priority should be for all of them to get to safety.

I wonder if her heart is in asystole right now even...it's a thing that regularly happens after a direct lightning strike. Her having to lay there without any bloodflow whatsoever is really bad ofc regardless of which pulseless rythm it is. And yes, Maaya also took a really bad hit, you can only guess at this point what terrible internal injuries that unbelievably powerful electric current caused travelling through her body, next to shutting down her circulation immediately. There is bound to be a really long resuscitative effort on her, whichever way it ends.

She'll be suffering from worsening anoxia as time passes, but the paramedics will surely prioritize the girl's brain health when they arrive. I wonder if her heart will be in asystole by the time someone starts chest compressions. The view of Maaya is extremely captivating. I question if her pupils are fixed and dilated at this point. However, it is very exciting that her heart is not shock-able at this stage and how her face shows obvious cyanosis. I imagine the view of her toned tummy distending under the force of chest compressions would be mesmerizing.
