In the Northern regions of Tal, the constant looming threat of Talyxians is ever present due to the close proximity of the Forests. Eltus defend themselves against this by taking up arms and working together against a common enemy.

There are two distinct career possibilities for this Sergal, they might belong to the ranks of the Modern-Era Shigu, a highly industrial and militarized society. Or a highly skilled huntsman of Reono, around the year 60 of the Rain Calendar.

The modern era Shigu have what they call Defense Forces, tasked with protecting Shigu cities across the nation from the fearsome Talyxian biome forest. They are in charge of managing the boundaries and city limits between people's habitats and Talyxian forests which are filled with Miasma. Their role is somewhat similar in duties to that of Gold Ring's "Red Gardeners", which is an organization designed to study and go against dangerous wild creatures.

Reono's hunters have been making use of such equipment pieces up until RC60, albeit with new additions later along the way. Their existence is not something new to the modern era or old, as one Official Vilous character, Kadd the Eastern sergal was also working along with such equipment during his tenure under Reono's hunting association.

As always, this is just a fairly small, raw concept for now. We will determine this in the future in collaboration with Kiki-UMA! Stay tuned for more lore and canon updates in the future!
